A peaceful fishing village with golden beaches where safe swimming and excellent fishing can be enjoyed. Myalup is 150 kilometres SW of Perth and 30 minutes' drive southwest of Harvey off the Old Coast Road.

Pristine Lake Preston is situated in Yalgorup National Park and is a haven to birdlife and wildflowers when in season, providing excellent bush walks. The park is also has one of the first life forms known on earth, the rare stromatolites.

Large sand dunes provide scenic views over the ocean and dolphins can be frequently spotted along this stretch of coast. Myalup comes from the Aboriginal word 'mya' meaning paperbark tree, which are abundant throughout this area.

Special Features

Located on Old Coast Road , Myalup. Lake Preston is a pretty, shaded drive along this Lake which is many times saltier than the sea. There are many kinds of water birds to be seen on the lake, which is a National Park.
