This unique collection of jigsaw puzzles from many parts of the world is the result of a lifetime hobby. The enthusiast who gave her collection to the community is Mrs Jessie Brierly, who came to Bridgetown, Western Austrlia with her two children during the Second World War "in search of peace".

The puzzles have been completed mainly by Mrs Brierly, her family and friends and visitors to the hostel and motel she established and managed in Bridgetown for many years. From time to time new puzzles are sent by visitors to the gallery who wish to add one representative of their own country.

Mounted in various ways, they make an unusual and attractive display in a comfortable, carpeted gallery in the Bridgetown - Greenbushes Tourist Bureau where visitors are invited to work at unfinished puzzles or rest in the peaceful surroundings.
