Kalgan's pool is one of the more popular destinations for a day's outing. This is due to the close proximity to Newman and the large, deep pool which rarely dries up.
A tall cliff face dominates the area with a large deep pool at the bottom, excellent spot for camping.
Access by Car: Accessible by four wheel drive vehicle only. Drive north 23 kilometres along the Marble Bar Road and turn left at the signs to Kalgans. Travel 0.6 kilometres to the railway bridge and go under it. Turn left immediately past the bridge at the sign marked Kalgan's Pool. It is about 17 kilometres along a well used track to the pool.
