Bernard Park located on the banks of the Avon River in downtown Northam is named after a past Mayor of Northam Mr Oscar L Bernard.
The 100-year-old pine trees provide for a shady venue for a family picnic. The park features a man-made lake and includes electric barbecues and picnic tables.
The Rotunda was built in 1915. Bernard Park is adjacent to the newly built Avon Valley Visitor Centre, which offers the visitor every comfort.
