Enjoy a run through the jarrah forests of the Darling Range, then the beautiful rural landscapes of the Dale River Valley, take a contemplative stroll around the unique little church of St John in the Wilderness, enjoy the streetscapes of colonial days in Beverley.

The drive out to County Peak. The scenic drive takes you almost to the top of the magnificent peak. After an easy climb to the lookout, you can see into nine shires and the picturesque Yenyenning Lakes chain from the summit of what is reputed to be an extinct volcano.

Travel home via Edwards Crossing and the outstanding hilltop scenic drive a short distance to York, passing by interesting colonial homesteads dating from the State's earliest days, and within yards of Yangedine stable block. You enter York past the interesting Residency Museum. Stop and inspect the magnificent (and controversial) stained glass Chapel windows designed by noted West Australian Artist, Robert Juniper.

There is no finer drive in Western Australia. Follow our map to see the highlights... The Beverley - County Peak - York Scenic Drive.
