Benedictine Community of New Norcia 

New Norcia is a hidden treasure... and perhaps it's better to keep it that way! It is a truly remarkable location for those who enjoy peaceful and beautiful surroundings, historical buildings and a very special sense of being part of the Benedictine community! I really loved the Vespers in Latin at the Abbey. Good food can also be enjoyed at the beautiful hotel!

We liked it so much that we'll go back to experience and explore the many other aspects that the place has to offer. I particularly want to go for a walk early in the morning as I think it would be truly wonderful at that time of the day!

It’s a place where you can meet fellow travellers from all over the world, or even from your own suburb! Conversation around the dinner table is always enjoyable, from there you can choose to be completely autonomous and enjoy your solitude...or to develop friendships as you will.
The landscape itself is beautiful, especially with winter's coat of green! There’s the art gallery, museum, tour, and of course the historic hotel which is in itself worthy of a look. Highly recommended if you seek refreshment of the soul.
