Swanbourne Beach is a reasonably safe swimming beach with the biggest danger being from the shore break which can develop with strong onshore winds.
The beach is situated only 10 kilometres west of Perth city. Facilities include a Surf Life Saving club, grassed areas, a Kiosk/Cafe, car park, public toilets and public change facilities.
