Freshwater Bay School, built in 1862 by convicts and the community of Pensioner Guards, now houses Claremont Museum's impressive local history collection.
Displays chronicle life in Claremont in an earlier age. An original boat shed has been relocated on Museum land beside the Swan River.
Education activities are available Monday to Thursday.
