Lesmurdie Falls National Park is located on the escarpment 20 kilometres east/south-east of Perth. The Park covers 56 hectares and is only 5 kilometres from Kalamunda. Access to the park is via Lesmurdie and Falls Road.
Lesmurdie Brook flows through this small park, with Lesmurdie Falls tumbling 50 metres over the sheer face of the Darling Scarp. The terrain is steep granite rock, ensuring plenty of vantage points along the walking trails. On a clear day, from lookout points on the steep walkways that wander through the park, the flat land of the coastal plain sweeps the eye out over Perth city to Rottnest Island on the western horizon.
Reasonable shade, tap water, toilets, ten minute hill walk to falls, further two minute walk to first lookout and ten minutes to second lookout for views of the falls.
Low heath provides a habitat for micro fauna and birds ranging over the Park.
