The Francis Burt Law Museum comprises the Old Courthouse. The building has been used for many purposes including a church, school, concert hall and public meeting house. Today the building is used as The Law Society of Western Australia's community educational centre and museum for legal history in WA.
Visitors can enjoy a guided tour of the museum, with special arrangement for groups to take part in mock trials and visit the Supreme Court to view court proceedings. Francis Burt Law Museum is housed in Perth's oldest public building, constructed in 1836.
