Hyde Park 

Once known as 'Third Swamp Reserve', this is probably one of the most delightful of Perth's parks and is the scene of the Annual Festival, Hyde Park Holiday. People come in contact with various ethnic cultures and try their hand at pottery, weaving and painting.

All year round children can play in the pools of the water playground, with a fantasia of make-believe animals or in the adventure playground. Bird lovers can watch water fowel on the large ornamental lake or the lake's breeding island.

Take a leisurely stroll around the park relax and have a barbeque. Public barbeque facilities are avaialable as are gazebos and public toilets. Hyde Park's shady walks and relaxing atmosphere make it ideal for an enjoyable family outing.
