On Rockingham Road south of Munster and Coogee is great little spot called Wattleup. As a small semi-rural area, this is a great place to visit to experience the scope of the land and the produce that it generates.
Only minutes from the coast and the seaside villages of Henderson and Kwinana, Wattleup is in great proximity to the areas immediately south of Perth. From your base, you can travel either north or south to be in the middle of some of Western Australia’s major tourist precincts of Fremantle and Rockingham. If you make a beeline for the coast you can witness amazing views of Garden Island that is just offshore.
With a little waterway nearby and Mt Brown Lake, you can forget about travel and just explore the quaint and charming ambience of this tiny southern suburb.
