FSL Systems takes its name from its origins as Fremantle Steam Laundry established at North Fremantle by the Kronberger family, in 1897.

Setting the scene for the enthusiastic and entrepreneuial people who would run the company 100 years later, the Kronbergers established a laundry service to the tall ships visiting Fremantle at the turn of the century.
