These farms produce Australian South Sea Pearls - the most beautiful pearls in the world, which are grown in the oyster species Pinctada maxima. This oyster occurs naturally in the azure-blue waters off the northwest coast of Australia. The township of Broome has been the centre of pearling in Australia since the 1800's and continues this tradition today.

• The Australian South Sea Pearls, produced by Kailis Broome Pearls, when taken from the shell are used in their natural state. There is no processing or treatment. The lustre and colour of the pearls will remain as found and will not change with wearing. Colours range from the rare silver/pink to silver/white, silver/blue and golden.
