James Hair Studio Unisex 

I must say that I am surprised by what Dilly had to say about this salon. When in Fremantle I always try to make an appointment with one of the girls at James Hair Studio. I have never left without feeling like a million bucks. Bravo ladies.

I made an appointment to have foils done on a Saturday. I asked to have my roots done and hair highlighted just to give it a lift. The outcome was terrible. My hair turned out to be a trashy blonde colour with ginger roots (my hair is naturally mousy brown) and ginger colour throughout the hair. I returned to them on the Thurs to have this fixed, only to be spoken to in a disrespectful fashion. They told me that basically it was my own fault and that there was nothing wrong with the hair colour. They blamed everything from the previous hairdressers colour, to the shampoo I used, to the fact that I wore fake tan! In the end they dyed/bleached my hair twice, only for it to come out with white peroxide roots and yellow hair. I am horrified at the state of my hair. I asked the girl would she honestly let me walk out of the salon looking like this. She said "yes, I think it’s lovely". Another girl came over to tell me if I wasn’t happy than I could go elsewhere. This was at 6 o'clock on a Thurs evening. I ended up paying them to put in foils to tone down the colour (foils is what I originally asked for) and then charged me $139. I got no apology, they made out that I didn’t know what I wanted, the customer service was absolutely terrible. They admitted that they did advise me for an all over colour but another hairdresser defended her saying then it was my fault for not telling her what product the previous hairdresser used! My hair still looks terrible, I have ginger/white peroxide roots and brown/blonde/ginger/white lengths. I have paid a total of $273 for this mess and I dread to think what it’s going to cost to get it fixed.
