Port beach is situated 14 kilometres south west of Perth central city to the north of Fremantle. The beach is a safe beach for family swimming and is very crowded in the summer months.
Public toilets and change rooms are available. The Surf Life Saving Club has a cafe for snacks and refreshments. There is also a playground for kids.
