The building is classified by the National Trust, and is listed in the Register of Heritage Places under the Heritage of Western Australia Act and on the City of Melville's municipal inventory of places of cultural significance.
A small entrance fee, by donation, is welcome. Wheelchair access available. Group tours by arrangement.
