I did their 12 day Broome to Broome trip in May 2008. This was not a pampered tour. Everyone is expected to pull their own weight by having someone cook, clean, unload the truck, build the fire, etc. We all took turns so no one person did everything and when the chores where done everyone could sit back and enjoy some relaxing time around the fire. We had a blast.
I was the least fit of our bunch but kept up with everyone and Muz (our driver/guide) arranged for us to do some extra walks which were not on the brochure. This required more driving to get to the extra gorges which meant earlier starts and later arrivals at the camp sites (which weren't the scheduled ones because of the extra driving) but we were there to see the Kimberly and that is what we did.
I'm not sure what Clickety Click meant by "organisation and communication by this company was poor". I stayed at one of the hotels that they recommended so our only communication was to be at the front of our hotel by 7am. I don't know what else they needed to say? As far as the organisation, I only dealt with our driver and he was great.

I was really looking forward to our 7 day trip from Kununurra to Broome along the Gibb River Road in July 2008.
However, I was very disappointed. The organisation and communication by this company was very poor and the guides were inexperienced. I really feel that we did not receive what was promised by the brochure.
Mind you, the scenery was spectacular and the other passengers were great. I would recommend checking the company's performance and reputation before embarking on any such trip.
Response from All Terrain Safaris
As with all tours there are times when an item stated in the itinerary may be missed, sometimes that is due to the size of the group or the age of the group participating. Sometimes if it is a new season some things are changed around to try to improve the tour. It is always best to check the brochure and ensure that you have the latest version or check with the tour company what you will be seeing to ensure you are seeing what you want to see.We appreciate any and all feedback as there is only one way to improve and that is to listen to what people are saying.
