Broome's Last Resort 

What more can I say the title says it all. This was my favourite place in Broome. I stayed in two other backpackers in Broome and this was by far the best. The people were great and so friendly it had a real homely feel, even though it was a party place. There staff were fantastic so helpful and friendly and sometimes a little crazy but very funny.

I got along with everyone that stayed there great and made friends for life!

Compared to the other backpackers in Broome it was not badly priced either.

What more can I say, I know I will be back one day for more Broome-time at the Lasty!

I've stayed at 3 out of 4 of the Broome backpackers & it's by far the worst. The middle aged men that live there stare as you walk to the bathroom, pool or kitchen.

The two ladies showers can't be locked and one of the two toilets doesn't lock either. There were two people fighting out loud for 3 hrs in the middle of the night, threatening each other. I felt unsafe and told the night watchman who did nothing. The following morning when I told the Manager he simply said too late now it's over. He continued to say 'they are always like that' but have never been banned??

I'd prefer sleep on the beach or in a park if this was the only place available to stay. It's definitely THE LAST RESORT and not recommended for women.
