Kojonup is located approx 2hrs from Perth along the Albany Highway, nestled in the rural heartland of the Great Southern Region.

Konjonup has a long proud history, stretching back centuries to the days when nomadic Aborigines were first attracted to the area by a freshwater spring and abundance of game.

Even the name Kojonup has a historic significance referring to the "Kodja" or stone axe made by local Aborigines.

At the heart of Kojonup is the fresh water spring which first attracted European settlers to the town in 1837. Overlooking the spring is the Old Military Barracks, one of the oldest surviving military buildings in WA.

Kojonup is well-equipped with facilities to cater for just about every sporting activity. When you are exhausted from all your sporting activities just sit back and bask in the peace and tranquillity.

Keen gardeners will find much to inspire them with many homes taking part in the Australian Open Garden Scheme, and the surrounding countryside is covered in wildflowers during season.
