Bayonet Head is a large residential suburb, overlooking Oyster Harbour, just a short drive northeast of the centre of Albany.
Bayonet Head is a residential suburb, though areas of native bushland can be along Yakamia Creek. Several reserves, including the Bayonet Head Lookout which overlooks Oyster Harbour, Emu Point and Gull Rock National Park. These all offer recreational and picnic facilities.
The harbour is abuzz with activity and thousands of birds who come to feed on it's delights. It's a laid back area. Great for families.
Travel to nearby Emu Point, Middleton Beach or Albany city for cafe and restaurant dining.
