The wheatbelt town of Wubin is just 20 kilometres north of Dalwallinu and is the gateway to the pastoral country. A Heritage Wheatbin Museum depicts the history of grain handling from the early days through pictorial photos, with the emphasis on bulk handling and displaying machinery involved in this great step forward. The old wheatbin sits side by side with today's modern storage bins.
From Wubin a drive into the pastoral country during August and September will allow the traveller to view the seasonal display of everlastings that come following rains. On the way sites displaying the very unusual Leschenaultia Macrantha - a flower in the shape of a wreath, can be viewed, dependant again on the season.
Six kilometres east of Wubin on the Great Northern Highway are Wubin Rocks which are well known as a local picnic area.
