Walk to the top of Mt Charlotte for a great view of the City. This is Kalgoorlie-Boulder's reservoir for water that is piped from Mundaring Wier in Perth to the the Goldfields. The pipeline has been operating since 1903 and remains as an ongoing tribute to the genius of engineer C Y O'Connor.
Mt Charlotte is also the terminus of the Golden Pipeline Project to see the provision of tourist attractions that will promote and educate about the significance of the 566km pipeline's construction as well as celebrate it's centenary in 2003.
