Lake Dumbleyung is the largest semi-permanent stretch of inland water in Western Australia. Approximately 13 kilometres long, six and a half kilometres wide, it is famous as the site of the late Donald Campbell's historic World Water speed record set on 31 December 1964, in the Bluebird. It is also a sanctuary for birdlife and extremely popular for water sports and picnics.
The Wheatbelt Wildflower Drive begins at the town of Kukerin situated 39 kilometres east of Dumbleyung.
