Located 100 kilometres north of Westonia, Elachbutting Rock is a large granite outcrop with caves and has a magnificent wave formation, similar to that of Wave Rock in Hyden.

Elachbutting Rock and surrounds is an excellent area for bush walks, nature trails and picnics. Also, there is beautiful scenery during winter and spring seasons.

Elachbutting Rock is certainly spectacular and holds its own originality; it is truly a worthwhile visit.

Near to this area are many other rock formations which also have nature trails - some have caves with Aboriginal paintings.
