The hotel itself has very good facilities, but the staff are poorly trained and conflicting information was given upon booking, arrival and departure. The Manager implied on numerous occasions that I had intentionally misled her staff (even though I had stated upfront, on 3 occasions, my requirements) and was extremely rude when I refused to pay more money. Unless the hotel/motel staff are taught manners and customer service skills I do not recommend staying at this place. Hyden people in general are friendly, but the atmosphere in this motel was very frosty and created a blight on an otherwise excellent holiday. If you chose to stay here, make sure that you note everything you use and consume, and ignore the hostility of the staff and management. Please don't think that all country people in WA are similar because we had excellent service at other places.
