Horrocks Beach is situated 22 kilometres from Northampton and 72 kilometres from Geraldton. A popular beach resort for locals and tourists alike with excellent swimming, fishing, reef walking, windsurfing all forms of sea sport either in the open ocean or within the safety of the three mile bay protected by its inshore Coral reef.

An adventure playground, community kitchne with electric barbeque's adjacent to a grassed picnic area are available near to the safe swimming beach. Whale watching from a specially constructed platform with charts of where, how and when to look for the mighty Humpback Whales on their south-bound migration during the Spring and early Summer is another of the highlights of Horrocks Beach.

Nearly on the road to the mouth of the Bowes River are a series of caves decorated with early aboriginal paintings, some fascinating birds nests and wild bee hives airconditioned by nature.
