The Bay of Isles is the common name for this - one of Australia's most beautiful seascapes.

The wide sweep of the bay with shining white sand edging the turquoise water of the shallows, and the Myriad islands scattered carelessly here and there, provide an unforgettable sight. Home to hundreds of bird species, many endangered, and you can see sealions sunning themselves on the rocks.

Woody Island, one of nearly 100 islands in the Archipelago has been developed for tent and safari hut camping from September to April. Full day trips also available during this period.

Things to do Tent & Safari Hut camping - From September to April.

  • Boat trip to Woody Island.
  • Cruises within Esperance Bay.
  • Nature Study.
  • Ask at the Esperance Tourist Bureau about booking on the 14 kilometre boat trip to Woody island. Cruises within Esperance Bay and around nearer islands, lasting three and a half hours, are run regularly all year round.
