Overview

Close proximity to Melbourne makes Lillydale Lake a popular place for picnicking and day trips. The lake is an 80-hectare recreational area offering sail boarding, sailing, canoeing and fishing. There are magnificent wetlands and beach areas to relax and while away the time.

The park is open at all times and visitors are permitted to bring their dogs and bicycles along for the day.

Facilities

Due to the popularity of the lake, facilities are of high standard. The lake has a bbq and picnic area, playground, bike track, walking tracks, a beach, toilets, bridges and jetties

Getting There

Lillydale Lake is situated in the township of Lilydale, 45 km east of Melbourne. Head south along Swansea Rd. Just south of the roundabout is a signposted turnoff on the right which leads to Lilydale Lake
