Fishing

  • Visit the Steavenson, Taggerty and Acheron rivers. Great fishing in magnificent settings.

  • Gallipoli Park It's a fantastic recreational park offering tennis courts, cricket oval, hall, historic walk, fern walk, wisteria walk, gas & electric barbecues, picnic shelters, horse yards, water wheel, toilets, new BMX track, great pool — a great challenge!
  • Yellow Dog On Yellow Dog Road, picnic facilities, wood barbecue. A secluded spot alongside the Steavenson River. Beautiful. Vic Oak picnic area — just out of Marysville on the Buxton Road. Shady picnic area beside the Taggerty River near the Marysville District Country Club
