Kalorama is a small settlement within the Dandenong Ranges, located approximately 40kms from Melbourne on the Mount Dandenong Tourist Road.
In Kalorama there is a general store, which can offer local tourist info, and a lookout on the main road which looks down over Kalorama Park, Silvan Reservoir, forests and local farmland.
Kalorama Park is a very pleasant 22ha reserve on the eastern slopes of the Dandenongs, complete with BBQs and walking trails leading through open country and ash forest.

Nearby attractions include the famous William Rickett Sanctuary; home to a unique range of clay sculptures set amid trickling waterfalls, mountain ash, moist fern gardens and meandering paths; and Mt Dandenong Observatory.
