Situated on undulating hills Berwick is a popular tourist destination on the way to the Dandenongs and the Yarra Valley. Proclaimed in 1861 retains the nostalgia of days gone by, with many streets lined by mature English trees planted by early residents. In the north of Berwick are the Casey foothills beautiful natural bush and a plethora of birdlife, orchids and wildflowers.
