Tims Place Halls Gap Grampians Backpackers 

Living in Melbourne, it is such a relief to have a beautiful place like the Grampians to retreat to. This is made even better by knowing that I can stay a Tim's Place when I am there. Tim's place is my favourite backpackers (along with Flying Fox in Blue Mountains) of all that I have seen.

It is a cosy atmosphere: being able to sit in the welcoming communal areas. It is just so easy to talk to other travellers there and make new friends.

Tim is a terrific host with a wealth of information on the best sights to see and the best way to get there, and his staff are always equally as friendly. I return whenever I get the chance.
