Summerland Beach is home to the world famous Penguin Parade, as well as being an excellent surf beach in its own right - with public access til dusk.
The beach is closed off at dusk for all but those participating in the Parade. Visitors should note that Ventnor Road is closed beyond the carpark from sunset to sunrise - all year round.
Flynns Beach is located opposite Summerland Beach on the other side of Ventnor Road, on Cat Bay.
