Truly spectacular!

Meal Spectacular!

Posted by LBrown from Berwick, Australia

My partner and I stayed at this resort for one thing only, relaxation. We left completely satisfied and several kilos heavier.

We were blown away by the quality of the resort and the meals at the resort hotel.

As the resort has only been open for over a year the rooms are still fresh, clean and modern with great views and sufficient privacy.

The best part of the stay were the meals. The restaurant is situated on the highest peak of the property overlooking the water, you must prebook.

(Compliments to the Chef) on our first night we both had a three-course meal ($45 p.p for three courses, a little less for two). The starters of sweet potato soup and battered prawns were delicious! Highly recommend the rissoto and lamb chops as mains. But, the cheese cake and cinnamon pudding... to die for.

Totally impressed we were thinking about heading out the following night. However, after a tremendous three-hour spa at Phillip Island Eco Resort and Day Spa we decided to stay in. Again, our expectations were exceeded.

Have to say that the Scotch fillet tasted amazing and the snapper I ate was perfect in every sense of the word.

Buffet breakfasts (although a bit pricey at $25p.p) were pretty good, a little limited but covered the necessities.

Furthermore, the dining staff at the resort were some of the most friendliest and helpful people we have met in the hospitality industry.

All up I highly recommend this resort for future holiday goers, we'll definitely be making a return to this fine establishment!
