Banyule is boarded by the Yarra River in the south and Darebin Creek in the west and lies between 7 and 22 km north east of Melbourne City Centre.

It contains many significant heritage sites, aboriginal and archaeological sites, botanical & zoological habitats, and features associated with the painters of the Heidelberg School and architects and urban landscapers.

• Heidelberg is a residential suburb of Melbourne renowned for its parks & reserves such as Banyule Flats, Warringal Parklands & Heidelberg Park.

• Explore the history and stories of the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Village, West Heidelberg. The village was a temporary home to over 4,200 athletes who competed in the Melbourne Olympic Games
