This is Melbourne's west end of historic culture, grand hotels, international fashion, cafes, restaurants and corporate offices. The streets are lined with trees adorned with fairy lights and the whole top end of the street is a genre of its own. Products stand like artworks in a gallery on Collins Street.
Collins Street is class — the home of international haute couture, grand hotels and restaurants, the eastern portion of this street is often referred to as 'the Paris end'.
From haute to hip — a block away in Little Collins Street, the young, the fashionable and the streetwise gravitate to shop for the latest labels.
