St Kilda Road is a leafy boulevard running between St Kilda and the city, lined with offices and high-rise apartments and flanked by Melbourne's most expensive luxury apartments, prestigious schools, finest parks, and memorials.

To the east lies trendy South Yarra, an attractive suburb with beautiful period housing and large, fashionable shopping strips down its main arteries, Chapel Street and Punt Road. Between South Yarra and St Kilda Road are some of Melbourne's finest parks and gardens: the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kings Domain, Queen Victoria Gardens, Alexandra Gardens and Fawkner Park. Sporting venues in the area include Olympic Park and Melbourne Park.

Follow St Kilda Road to head towards Albert Park, and its lake, golf links and Grand Prix circuit.
