Overview

Elwood is a sophisticated suburb with an unperturbed café existence only 2km from lively St. Kilda and 7km south of Melbourne's CBD. Elwood is one of Melbourne’s primary tourist precincts presenting restaurants, entertainment venues, hotels, markets, retail outlets and street cafes. Albert Park hosts the Grand Prix and the weekly sporting and entertainment events.

Elwood has proximity to the lots of things the Bayside suburbs have to offer. St Kilda is within bike riding or strolling distance. Call into the Sunday markets, have cake and coffee in Acland Street, feast at many of the restaurants in Fitzroy Street, or take the ferry to Williamstown.

Acland and Fitzroy Streets boast a marvellous collection of multicultural food at street cafes, first class hotels, and restaurants. The Palais Theatre and Luna Park are situated in between. Wander to the Elwood Foreshore, benefit from a bike ride, taste a latte an eatery at Elwood Village, feed the ducks in the park, amble to the traditional Cinema, or have a go at golf.
