Metung is a small village on the tranquil waters of the Gippsland Lakes, surrounded by gentle green hills and sandy beaches. With over 400 square kilometres of water to explore, the region is a haven for anyone seeking aquatic leisure, a special holiday or just the simple pleasures of life.
The town extends out into the water of the lakes. Bancroft Bay, on one side, bustles with boats, and the other shore is part of the Lakes National Parks. Lake King Beach offers the perfect safe location for kids to swim and families to enjoy those beautiful coastal days.
