Bay of Islands Coastal Park 

The park stretches from Peterborough almost to Warrnambool in a 32km long narrow strip. The park has spectacular ocean views and many other memorable features that equal that of the more famous 12 Apostles. It protects a variety of rare and threatened flora and fauna species in its coastal heathland environment.

• The Park has many varied points of interest. Explore Wild Dog Cave or be awestruck by the impressive scenery in the nearby Bay of Martyrs. Looking for a secluded beach to keep all to yourself then try Worm Bay, Crofts Bay, Boat Bay, and in the western section of the park, Childers Cove.
• Learn a little of the history of the area at Halladale Point, named for the shipwreck of the vessel "Falls of Halladale" which came to its end on the reef off the point in 1908.

A more secluded, less populated park in this coastal region, it is posible, more often than not, that you can enjoy the beauties of the Bay of Islands Coastal Park all to yourself.
