Wodonga 

Wodonga is located on the banks of the Murray River, and known as part of the twin town Albury-Wodonga area - on the NSW-VIC border.

Wodonga is the first town travellers come to when travelling south on the Hume Highway in Victoria. The area offers much to entice the traveller with many points of historical and cultural interest as well as water activities.

For thousands of years, the Murray River has been a vital source of nourishment for the land that surrounds it and has played a significant part in the history of Australia’s people.

Over 45km of cycling & walking paths provide the opportunity to enjoy scenic routes that link the City or strol by the river.

Albury-Wodonga was once touted as a possible federal capital and the ambience imbued by the city’s architecture is a reflection of these grand plans.

Things to do

Wodonga Council hosts the Wodonga Market on the first Saturday of each month. Comprising quality art and craft stalls with food. Everything for sale is a hand-made, local, original pieces made or designed by the stall holder.
