Murray River Reserves – Mildura to Robinvale 

The Murray River Parklands are a series of reserves protecting natural and cultural attractions of the area. Linked by the majestic beauty of the Murray River, they feature towering River Red Gums, tranquil riverside settings with sandy beaches, wide expanses of water and colourful red cliffs.

Flora & Fauna - The park is a safe haven for many animals including Whistling Kites, Black Kites, White-winged Choughs, Brown Treecreepers, honeyeaters, Regent Parrots, Red-rumped Parrots, Yellow Rosellas, Major Mitchell Cockatoos, Murray Cod and Golden Perch, rare Carpet Pythons, small skinks and a variety of lizards.

• The riverbanks at Robinvale have impressive old Red Gum forests, freshwater billabongs, Black Box woodlands, sandbars and rockshelves providing nesting hollows for a variety of birds with its old rotten limb hollows and broken branches. The River Red Gum is the most widely distributed eucalyptus species in Australia. It lines the Murray River for most of its length.
