The Shoreham district, once reliant on the farming industry, has now begun to attract a range of high quality holiday homes along with retreats and bed & breakfast establishments. The area is characterised by steep pine clad beaches around the outlet of Stony Creek and rocky platforms and reefs, which are popular for family exploration. The pastures of the surrounding hill roll down to meet the sand ad pebbles of the beautiful beaches and swimming is ideal as it is sheltered by the reef, which is also frequented by longboard surfers at the “Pines”.

  • The town is serviced by a general store and it shares the centre of town with a tennis court and a hall. Neighbouring Port Leo is also a popular longboarders surfing destination and behind Shoreham the hills rise up to Red Hill with sheep and cattle grazing the beautiful pastures.

Getting There

- Between Flinders and Point Leo on Western Port Bay. It is about 78km south of Melbourne.
