Stanley Artworks is a contemporary commercial art gallery in Tasmania’s north west.

The Gallery is in central Stanley - a classified historic town and the last major township on the north west coast.

Established in 1995 by Toby Muir Wilson and Mark Bishop, Stanley Artworks seeks to illustrate the Tasmanian identity through a distinctive selection of contemporary Tasmanian art and craft.

Representing more than 50 Tasmanian artists, the Gallery features a diverse range of work in a vibrant program of exhibitions.

Here you can see and purchase work by acclaimed artists including furniture designers and makers Mark Bishop and Toby Muir Wilson, painters Kerry Martin and Paul Boam, printmakers Tom Samek and Samantha Hignett, jewellery designers Di Allison and Melanie Honor Clarke and photographer Chris Bell among many others.

Opening Times

  • Stanley Artworks is open daily throughout the year, except for Christmas Day and Good Friday.
