Tranquilles Art Gallery is located within the Tranquilles Bed and Breakfast at Port Sorell, northern Tasmania.

Tranquilles Art Gallery features work by Tasmanian artists in a series of ongoing exhibitions. Work is displayed in two gallery spaces, in the reception area, and on the walls of the property’s Quills Cafe.

Artists to have exhibited in the gallery include leading Tasmanian watercolourist Cheyne Purdue and photographer Barry Cook in addition to other local artists and art school students.

There are a number of galleries and museums in Tasmania's north. You can visit the Devonport Regional Art Gallery, or travel south to Sheffield to see the town's famous public murals.

In Launceston, you can visit a number of fine galleries including the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery, and world-renowned Design Centre of Tasmania.
