Moonta Bay and Port Hughes are close neighbours of the small town of Moonta. The towns are very popular with holidaymakers and has excellent facilities and accommodations. The iconic long wooden jetty is stunning to look at and provides various opportunities for fishermen and fishing enthusiasts. The wide sandy shores, clear blue green water and sunset vistas are excellent for families and couples.

  • See historical buildings. The Freemasons Hall, the National Bank, the cemetery & the Moonta Hotel are all noteworthy
  • Swim, sail, sailboard, dive, fish off the jetty or take a fishing trip
  • Commercial fishing boats can be chartered
