Bredl's Wonderworld of Wildlife 

We were there during our travels through Australia in November 2005 after seeing an interesting film about the park on TV in Germany.
The Park we saw had nothing in common with what we had seen on TV. We were very disappointed. There were only a few animals in very small cages. Some cages were empty. There were many things laying around which should have been tucked away. After reading the other review we presume nothing has changed since.

I visited the park in April 2007, visiting from NSW.

This place is very run down and needs some much loved attention! A lot of the animal exhibits didn't have signs (and some of those that did - were broken and laying in the exhibit) - so we had no idea what we were looking at.

There is also lots of old equipment laying around - that needs to be tucked away in a shed.

I would also be very wary of letting your children just run around, especially near the enclosure for the alligator. It is a rail - but then the enclosure's fence is right behind it - with fencing material big enough for a small hand to go through! The day we were there - the alligator was right next to the fence - and I was horrified how easily it would be for a small child (if they were not being watched) could have just walked up and stuck their hand through the fence.

The park has the potential to be very nice - but if it doesn't get some much needed maintenance (all over) very soon - it is not going to be too much of an attraction for Renmark.

We walked away quite disappointed and frankly - feeling a bit sorry for the animals... esp. the wedge tailed eagles.
