A 1,000 hectare, open-range sanctuary, the only Zoological Park in Australia combining the concept of zoo and natural wilderness areas into one centre, for the conservation of wildlife and nature.
The Monarto experience begins with entry to the Visitors Centre where you can view our unique Bilby exhibit and learn from the interactive displays and touch tables available all year round.
For those people who are able, there are three walking tracks that will take you past some of the highlights of the park. The Emu Track is a self guided 20 to 30 minute walk passing a variety of birdlife and native flora. The Mallee Fowl Track is a guided tour of approximately 90 minutes to a habitat where you can see these unique birds in a native setting.
Further Information
If the real Africa is too far to go, then our African Track will more than satisfy your desire to see giraffe, zebra or eland in a beautifully simulated environment. This track includes lookouts that provide an overall view of the Park and it's surrounds.
