Within Western Rivers Conservation Park a short walk will take you to the top of a spectacular winter waterfall. When the water is flowing, the steep walk to the bottom is worth the effort - particularly for photographers. Extreme care should be used near the slippery rocks.
For the more adventurous, hiking down the creek leads to a rugged cove amongst steep, rocky cliffs. Watch for Osprey or Sea Eagles as the waves crash on the rocks. It may be possible to catch a glimpse of the endangered Glossy Black Cockatoo, feeding on coastal sheoaks, or perched high in the Sugar Gums nearer the waterfall. A full day should be allowed to best experience this walk.
